Hello There!!!
Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas Day 9. Looking at Snow Flake stamps in Beary Cute stamp set, it reminded me old dry embossing technique. Unfortunately I do not have pictures any picures while I was making this card.
- I started with 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ Misty Moon light cardstock, scored and folded at 4 1/4″.
- I cut Whisper White cardstock measured 51/4″ x 4″.
- After wiping all over Whisper White cardstock with Embossing Buddy, I started stamping Large and small snow flakes randomly with Versamark Ink. Since Versamark ink transparent you may not see it very well.
- I spread Clear Embossing powder all over stamped whisper white cardstock, taped in the back of the card so access powder does not stick. With Heat tool heated stamped with I watched melting of clear embossing powder. You have to be carefull not heat too much. Since cardstock was white you will see white snow fakes.
- While embossed whisper white cardstalk getting cool down, I stamped tree with Old Olive Ink and three bear as shown in the picture with Pecan Pie ink. also stamped scarfs and hat with Real Red, Old Olive and Misty Moon light ink.
- I punched one Bear with punch, fussy cut other bears and tree.
- Once embossed whisper white cardstock cooled down I started blending Balmy Blue ink very lightly all over the embossed card. You can see Blue ink did not stick on embossed snow flakes. I love this technique, seems like its magic.
- I adhered embbosed panel on Misty Moon light cardstalk. Then I adhered tree and bears with Stampin Up Dimentionals.
- I stamped sentiment on left upper corner.
This was easy card and does not take long time. I hoped you liked this card.
