12 Days of Christmas – Day 5

Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas Day 5. More I use Beary Christmas Suite more I enjoy coming up with new projects. This is again fun fold card.

  • I satared with 4 1/4″ x 11″ Vary Vanilla Card stalk, scored at 5 1/2″.
  • I cut off 1 1/2″ inches of the card stalk of the front portion of the card.
  • I cut Beary Christmas DSP 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, making sure of the directions of the trees I cut DSP 3 7/8″. So now you have two pieces of DSP measures 3 7/8″ and 1 3/8″
  • First I adhere only larger piece of DSP on front of the Vary vanilla Card.
  • I punch Vary Vanilla Card stalk with 2 3/8″ Circle punch, and by using Stylish Shape Dies cut out circle of Misty Moon Light card Stalk.
  • I also cut strip measures 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ of Misty Moon Light card stalk and small strip same DSP.
  • On piece of Vary Vanilla card stalk I stamped Bear with Pecan Pie ink and scarf with Misty Moon light , stamped tree with Old Olive ink.
  • I adhered tree and punched bear on lower side of the Vary Vanilla circle. Make sure to glue only side that the tree will be on circle.
  • I also stamped ” Warm Wishes” with Old Oive ink and some snow flakes with Misty Moon Light ink at the edge.
  • Now is the fun part. I adheres small strip of DSP on srip of Misty Moon Light. Than adhered small portion of the strip behind Vary Vanilla Circle.
  • now I adhere Misty Moon Light circle behind Vary Vanilla Circle.
  • Keeping attached tree and Bear circle in the middle of the card, score strip at the edge of the card. Fold the strip and glue on the card. If you think strip is long you can cut it as you need.
  • Now the last part. Adhere DSP 1 3/8″ DSP paper on 1 1/2″ Vary Vanilla, then adhere at the edge of the inside card so strip will not show.

When I was stamping tree I did not stamp properly so I had to use other side of the card stalk. It seems little confusing but once you start working on it you will get it. I hope you like this fun fold card.
